Our Story
For over 30 years Dr. Brent Blaylock has been providing quality patient first care to the city of Durham and its residents. After a fulfilling career Dr. Blaylock decided to retire in January 2025 at which time he handed the reigns over to Dr. Matthew Barnes. A NC native, Dr. Barnes previously worked in a variety of offices from the mountains of NC to the coast. The staff is still here and has been instrumental in keeping Dr. Barnes sane. We are committed to continuing the legacy that Dr. Blaylock established and look forward to seeing yall soon!

We believe that oral needs should dictate treatment not insurance companies. While we are not in network we will gladly help file your insurance for you and we offer Cherry and CareCredit when needed. We are dedicated to working with you to provide the best care we can.
