Dental Extraction

When restorative options are exhausted and a tooth cannot be saved due to compromised tooth structure/bone removal is necessary. We aim to minimize stress on adjacent teeth, preserve bone structure and reduce post operative pain and complications.

Bone Grafting

Following tooth removal site preservation a.k.a. bone grafting is often recommended to help preserve bone structure. The aim is to prevent bone loss which naturally occurs during bone remodeling. This is especially important when considering an implant in the future.

Alveoplasty

An alveoplasty is a surgical procedure where we reshape and smooth bony protrusions. While not always necessary, when indicated we do this to ensure proper fit of a denture or partial.

Crown Lengthening

When needed during a crown procedure, we remove a minimal amount of bone around a tooth circumferentially to allow for proper crown to tooth ratio. Healing time is minimal.
